OXVA Xlim SQ Kit

Here is Xlim SQ Kit by OXVA Leave a comment

The OXVA Xlim SQ Pod Kit is the most current improvement to all preceding iterations.

Instead of the bar style of most prior versions, this has a nice square appearance with an included Lanyard. Like the other kits in the Xlim series, this pod kit makes use of a refillable but ultimately disposable pod. The coil is within the pod, and the box contains both the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm versions.

When the coil’s performance has deteriorated, you toss away the pod component and install a new one. Similar to the original, it has a 900mAh battery and a USB Type C 1A charging rate. According to reports, you may recharge up to 80% in only 30 minutes. It specifies a 5 to 25 W output range and selects the output depending on the resistance of the installed pods.

A great feature of the square device is a slider on the side that lets you adjust the airflow to your own preferences.

You have access to an LED indicator that will let you know how your battery and device are doing.

In fact, there are 8 colors to choose from Gold Blue, Purple Black, Pink Green, Arctic Ice, Pink, Black, Gold, & Light Blue.

The Design and Quality

The product comes in a small, quite a basic box with slots for extra supplies and a plastic tray for the device. Simple to unpack, but challenging to repack!

The instructions are quite easy yet provide all the necessary information and a fantastic exploded diagram of each component. The sturdy lanyard chain contains a clasp to secure it to the device. Although a bit challenging to clasp, it is efficient. The previous Xlim models are substantially the same in this square variant. It seems ludicrous to think that a 900mAh battery could possibly fit inside this.

The POD Concept

The pod is constructed in a similar manner to past versions.

The fill port is covered with silicone on the side of the pod. These covers have a history of ripping. Even though the pods in this kit didn’t have this issue, they still weren’t able to get a perfect score. Fair enough, though—some wear and tear is to be anticipated considering how long the pods operate.

It’s tiny and hard to open without nails, but it’s still a big improvement. The fill port needs to function well with narrow nozzles and 10ml bottles. If it’s any bigger, you’ll simply end up pouring e-liquid in the wrong place! The transparent mouthpiece makes checking e-liquid easier since you can tip the pod on its side to check for liquid in the mouthpiece area without removing the pod. The lifespan of a 0.8-ohm pod is around 4000 puffs.

The resistance and recommended power level are placed on the pod’s base, along with magnets, contacts, and ventilation holes. Even if the pod is inserted, it will still work.

The MOD Concept

The mod’s top and bottom are made of rigid plastic, while the rest of the body is made of an aluminium alloy with a gradient paint job. It starts off Reddy Pink at the bottom and changes to a brilliant green-yellow tone from there.

The wording on one side of the mod reads “Xlim SQ,” whereas the other side just says “OXVA.”

On the side wall near the OXVA logo is where the tiny LED is positioned, however having just a simple, round LED the size of a pinhead looks a bit careless. On one side, the iconic airflow slider is visible and is an exact replica of previous iterations. The loop on the other side may be used to attach the lanyard. The base houses the battery capacity and the USB Type C connector, both of which required to have Legal Logos etched on them.

The top face is textured and made of tough black plastic, as was already mentioned. On the other side of the top face, which occupies half of it, is the pod compartment. Within the container are two spring-loaded contacts, two magnets, and the rubber gasket that covers the airflow detector. On the other Xlim models, if you had auto-draw or device malfunctions, as well as issues that often went away, you may remove this gasket and dry off the region underneath. However, unlike past versions, none of the additional gaskets are included in this version, which may still be utilized in the same manner.

What are Simple OXVA Slim Functions?

The following are the OXVA Slim’s functions:

  • Power On/Off is not a feature that may be switched.
  • Inhale through the mouthpiece while vaping to start the auto fire.
  • The battery indicator turns on when you smoke. Green indicates that there is 65 to 100% charge left, blue indicates that there is 30 to 65% charge left, red indicates that there is less than 30% charge left, and red flashes when there is no more charge in the battery and the gadget won’t light.
  • As the battery charges, the battery level colors gradually change from Red to Blue to Green. When the LED reaches its full charge, it turns off.
  • Adjust the slide slider on the mod’s side to change the airflow by increasing or decreasing it as needed.

What are its Alert Signs?

Following are its alert signs:

  • Low battery: When the LED flashes red 10 times, the device will turn off.
  • In reaction to a short circuit or low resistance, a red LED flashes three times.
  • If there is an open circuit or no atomizer, the blue LED flashes three times.

How to recharge Battery?

Follow these steps to recharge the battery:

  • Join the small end of the included USB type C cable to the mod’s USB port.
  • Connect the cable’s large end to a USB socket that is appropriate.
  • The LED will cycle through its hues when fully charged before turning off.
  • Recharging a smartphone takes around an hour.
