Drag X Pro Leave a comment

Voopoo has been fast expanding their Dragline, and the Drag X Pro is the latest addition. This is not to be confused with the Drag X Plus or the newly announced Drag X Plus Pro.

However, the Drag X Pro varies from these other two devices in that it does not include a 510 connector. Since it utilises a pod-style tank, it is the successor to last year’s Drag X pod mod.

Voopoo’s latest GENE.FAN technology is included in the Drag X Pro. has a 3.0 chipset and can provide 100W of electricity at variable voltages up to 8.5V. Uses a single 21700 or 18650 battery and comes with the TPP X Pod tank, which is compatible with all TPP coils.

Specifications

  • Leather and Zinc-Alloy
  • A physically-operated switch
  • Maximum Voltage of 8.5V
  • Wattage Output of 5-100W
  • TC, RBA, & Smart Modes
  • Draw or Button is Active
  • One 18650 or 21700 battery
  • 5.5 ml Pod Size

Design

This device keeps the VOOPOO DRAG X’s signature style. There have been several imitations of the VOOPOO DRAG X throughout the years, but none have been able to live up to the original’s groundbreaking style.

Wrapping the virtually matte-finished metal shell with a leather-like cloth adds both opulence and cosiness. A bright colour display gives the user their most-used vaping options.

You would think the pod is rather substantial since it looks like an old-school sub-ohm tank. Despite this, the TPP X Pod is remarkably light. It has a convenient top-fill mechanism and is compatible with TPP coils. For those who like MTL vaping, the PnP pod is compatible with this device; however, it is not included.

Methods for Mashing the X Pro Buttons

  • Press the fire button five times quickly to turn it on or off (or use the switch if you have it set).
  • To reach the menu where you may change the settings, hold down both of the control buttons at the same time.
  • Maintain pressure on the power and left adjustment buttons simultaneously to clear the puff counter.
  • To activate the locking mechanism, just toggle the switch.

Effectiveness and efficiency in operation

This kit, being the “Pro” variant of the original DRAG X, allows for vaping at 100W, up from 80W. While it has the same power as the VOOPOO DRAG X Plus, this variant is otherwise distinct. A computerized drawing system is one such choice.

You may control the amount of vapor produced by blowing into the mouthpiece, or you can activate the coil with your breath. Many casual vapers like the auto draw feature since it allows them to quickly inhale and exhale without pausing to adjust settings or glance at their device.

The DRAG X Pro is powered by one 18650 battery, which is not included but is available for purchase separately. If the battery dies while you’re vaping, simply swap it out for a new one. If you have a USB-C cable, you may use it to charge the battery.

Usage

Compared to the PnP pod, the genuine TPP pod had an upgraded variety of VOOPOO coils. Because of its innovative top-fill design, the TPP X pod is now a step forward in this regard. To release the top of the tank, press the button in that way.

Turning the pod’s top clockwise while pressing this reveals the rubber plug covering the e-liquid entry. The next step is to remove the bung and fill the tank with e-liquid without spilling it. Reinstall the pod’s top by rotating it back into position after you’re done.

Price

It costs $39.08, making it more expensive than the original DRAG X (at $27.19) but less than the DRAG X Plus. Prices for the VOOPOO DRAG X Pro from the Electronic Cigarette Company start at £34.99.

This set is perfect for DL vapors that are interested in vaping at higher wattages. The 2 TPP coils included in the set have sizable wicking slots. Therefore, they are ideal for soaking up heavy e-liquid and giving forth massive clouds of vapor.

Sub-ohm resistances are the only ones now available for the TPP coils. However, with a PnP pod that utilizes high-resistance coils, this kit may be effectively used by MTL vapers.
